Carla Steinbrecher, Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn/University of St Andrews (Schottland)

Carla Steinbrecher studied Philosophy, Spanish Philology, Comparative Literature and German Studies in Regensburg, Bonn and St Andrews. As a doctoral candidate at the Universities of Bonn and St Andrews she works on the representation of international socialist public spheres in East German cultural production on Chile in the 1970s and 1980s. She is the current coordinator of the German Screen Studies Network (GSSN) und published recently „Chile in der DDR – geteilte Utopien?
