Roland Ißler, University of Bonn

Dr. Roland Ißler is assistant professor (Akademischer Rat) for Romance literature and didactics of Romance languages and literatures at the Institute for Classical and Romance Philology at the University of Bonn; Junior professorship for didactics of Romance languages and literatures; Substitute professorships for Romance Philology at the Ruhr University Bochum and for didactics of Romance school languages at the University of Duisburg-Essen. His main research interests include: French, Italian and Spanish literature from the Middle Ages to the modern age, especially poetry, theater and musical theater; myth reception; children’s and youth literature; literary didactics; didactics of multilingualism including Latin; teacher training.
