Author Biography

Anne-Sophie Donnarieix, University of Regensburg

Anne-Sophie Donnarieix holds her PhD in romance philology and teaches French and Spanish Literaure and Culture at the University of Regensburg. Her research focuses mainly on 20th and 21st century French Literature, with a special focus on the contemporary novel. In her PhD, she focused on irrationnality and surnatural in novels since the 1980s (Réenchantements critiques, Presses Universitaires du Septentrion, in publication) and published articles on the relation between novel and history, spectrality, fantasy and animality. She is currently editing two books on the aesthetics of the Great War (Esthétique de la guerre. Éthique de la paix, Classiques Garnier) and on neo-exotic writings (La Délocalisation du roman, Peter Lang).
