If you would like to submit an article, please register and log in as a user on our web site. You can then submit and upload your article in the user area, where you can also observe the status of your article during the publication process. We thank you for facilitating the work of the editorial team and helping to ensure that your article can be published as quickly as possible.

By submitting a manuscript, the corresponding author/s must confirm and accept the following conditions in their own name and, if applicable, in the name of all co-authors involved:

The article is unpublished. It has not been submitted or published elsewhere, either in its entirety or in part.

The corresponding author grants the journal the unrestricted right of first publication on his/her own behalf and on behalf of all co-authors.

The corresponding author declares in his/her own name and in the name of all authors that he/she has written the submitted work him/herself and is its author in the legal sense (in the case of several authors: joint co-author). The contribution does not violate any copyrights or other rights of third parties.

All (co-) authors have consented to submitting in the present form. The corresponding author assures that he/she is authorised by the authors to make the declarations listed here, and that he/she and all other authors can dispose of the rights to the extent stated, in particular that no third-party rights conflict with the publication. In this respect, they jointly and severally indemnify the journal, the Hamburg State and University Library and the publication service Hamburg University Press against claims by third parties.

The necessary permission has been obtained for the use of texts, images or other content that affects third-party copyright. A proof (e.g., a mail history) will be included in a separate PDF file when uploading the submission.

All articles in this journal are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. By submitting the article on behalf of all authors, the corresponding author accepts publication under the CC BY 4.0 International licence.

The corresponding author agrees on behalf of all authors to the distribution of the article metadata under the CC0 1.0 Universal licence after successful review.

The authors accept the privacy statement of the magazine.

The article complies with the publication ethics of the journal.

The submission is available for text files in doc/docx format, for audio files in MP3 format or for video files in MP4 format.

An abstract at least in the language of the submission and in English is provided for contributions in the following sections: special issue, miscellaneous section, Workshop, Premiers Travaux, essay.

A biographical note and a maximum of 5 keywords in the language of the submission and in English are provided for any submission.

Publication costs
apropos [Perspektiven auf die Romania] is a pure open access journal. The journal does not charge article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges or other fees. Authors do not incur any costs for submitting or publishing articles in the journal.
