Submission Guidelines

All authors are asked to submit their manuscripts online. Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you carefully read and adhere to both the Author Guidelines and to the Submission Preparation Checklist. Manuscripts not conforming to these guidelines may be returned.

In order to submit your manuscript or to check the workflow status of your submission, you should log onto the website.

User Account
If you are a new user, you will first need to create an account. Follow the instructions and please ensure to enter a current and correct email address.
If you have already created an account but have forgotten your details click on ‘Login’, type your email address and click on ‘Forgot your password?’.

IMPORTANT: Please check whether you already have an account in the system before trying to create a new one. If you have authored or reviewed for the journal in the past years it is likely that you have an account.

New Submission
Once you are logged in, you will be forwarded to the dashboard of the Aethiopica Journal System and you can select ‘New Submission’. Follow the instructions on each screen, click the ‘Save and continue’ button to save your work and advance to the next screen.
