Joris Lehnert, University of Rostock

Joris Lehnert teaches French Language and Culture at the University of Rostock. His research focuses on contemporary France, the works of Waldemar Gurian and sport as political, cultural and social phemanona in France and in Germany. He recently published « L’esthétique du récepteur. Waldemar Gurian, la vie intellectuelle et la littérature française" (Revue d’histoire culturelle 2020/1) », « TV Fiction and State Fiction : Abseits/Offside (1981), a socialist narrative about violence in East German Football » (Soccer & Society 2020) and « Literaturbericht zur neuesten Historiografie der Tour de France - und zu Raymond Poulidors Tod » (Stadion. Internationale Zeitschrift für Geschichte des Sports 1/2020).
