A new journal for an emerging field
We are pleased to announce that the first issue of the Journal of Language and Aging Research has been published.
This issue contains research papers answering important questions about the intersection of language and aging:
- What is the role of humor in the linguistic production of multilingual individuals experiencing dementia? (Carolin Schneider & Besa Qalaj)
- How can we use ERP data to model syntactic processing in older adults? (Willem van Boxtel & Laurel A. Lawyer)
It also includes a number of brief “mission statements” by experts from various subdisciplines of linguistics on fruitful future directions for research in language and aging.
