Bertram Lang, M.A., is a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Political Science of Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. His current research mainly focuses on Chinese philanthropy in the transnational context, as well as on the politics of corruption and anti-corruption. Besides his academic research, he regularly consults international non-profit organisations on issues related to civil society work in and with China.
