Aleksandra Kubat completed her PhD at the Lau China Institute, King’s College London in 2019. She is interested in Chinese governance, the production of political ideas in contemporary China, as well as methods and methodologies of research on China’s party-state system. She is currently turning her doctoral project into a book which will discuss the intricacies of the relationship between the CCP, cadre, and culture under Xi Jinping.
