Dear Collegues, The Journal of Current Chinese Affairs (JCCA) is one of the best established and most prestigious open access, peer-reviewed international academic journals on all matters relating to contemporary China across discipline areas. It is now under a new joint editorial team, Kerry Brown of King’s College, London, and Georg Strüver of the GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies, Hamburg. We are also very glad to introduce our new editorial advisory board. We very much welcome good quality individual submissions for our current issues, but also proposals for guest-edited editions for our volumes from 2020 onwards. While we invite submissions on all matters relating to current developments in Greater China, we are particularly interested in contributions on China’s foreign policy and international relations in Asia, domestic issues such as health care, social welfare and legal reform, as well as research on Hong Kong affairs. Submissions can be made to one of our three peer-reviewed sections, research articles, analyses and review articles. Information about the submission process can be found here. For any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from interested authors and guest editors. Yours sincerely, Kerry Brown and Georg Strüver Kerry Brown Professor of Chinese Studies and Director Lau China Institute Email: kerry.brown@kcl.ac.uk Georg Strüver Research Fellow, PhD GIGA Institute of Asian Studies Email: georg.struever@giga-hamburg.de |
