Ian Taylor is a professor in international relations at the School of International Relations at the University of St. Andrews and a professor extraordinary at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. His research interests are in emerging South–South relations and the notion of “rising powers”, regions and regionalism, Africa’s political economy and its international relations, and Chinese foreign policy.
